Song Joong Ki becomes More Confident when Dressed as a Werewolf

Actor Song Joong Ki recently confessed that he became more confident thanks to the werewolf makeup.

In the afternoon of September 26, a showcase for the movie A Werewolf Boy (directed by Jo Sung Hee, produced by Silk Road) was held at the Apgujeong CGV Theater located in Shinsa-dong, Seoul.

Song Joong Ki plays the werewolf boy who lives a lonely life in the world that abandons him. When a fan asked, “Wasn’t it hard to get the werewolf makeup done?” he replied, “Actually, the more hair were glued on my body, the more confident I have become.”

He explained, “People say that you change depending on what you wear. It also applies to me. I felt lighter and more confident. It made me feel great.”

A Werewolf Boy received an official invitation to the 27th Toronto International Film Festival in the section of Contemporary World Cinema and to the open cinema of the 17th Busan Film Festival. It is about a love story of a werewolf (played by Song Joong Ki) whose temperature measures 46 degrees in Celsius and blood type is unidentifiable with a lonely girl (played by Park Bo Young) who closed herself from the world. It is also the first commercial film of Jo Sung Hee who previously worked on The End of the Animal, Nice Short, and Don’t Step out of the House. Yoo Young Suk and Jang Young Nam joined in the filmmaking. The movie premieres on October 31.
