‘Master’ Kim Byung Man’s father has passed away.
Kim Byung Man’s father Kim Wan Soo passed away on December 4 in Jeonju due to a chronic illness. He was 64 years old.
The deceased suffered from Alzheimer’s disease after receiving surgery 10 years ago, and Kim Byung Man often talked of how he thought dearly of his ill father in broadcasts or interviews.
In the December 2 broadcast of SBS’ The Laws of the Jungle, Kim Byung Man’s mother also stated that “Kim Byung Man has been paying for his father’s hospital fees for more than five years now.”
The news is ever more tragic as Kim Byung Man will be wed in March next year.
A mortuary has been set up in a hospital in Seoul, and the coffin will be moved on December 7 to a mountain in Wanju. Many people from the entertainment industry have visited the mortuary to offer their condolences with includes Song Joong Ki, Lee Kwang Su, Lee Soo Geun, Kim Young Chul and Ryu Jin .
