The two of the hottest actors in recent years Moon Chae Won and Song Joong Ki have met.
The new KBS drama ‘Nice Guy’ set to premier in September revealed the photos from its first script reading on July 5th.
The script reading was held last week at KBS annex and present at the meeting were director Kim Jin Won, writer Lee Kyung Hee, lead actors Moon Chae Won playing the role of Seo Eun Gi, Song Joong Ki playing Kang Ma Roo, Park Si Yeon playing Han Jae Hee, and supporting actors Lee Yoo Bi, Lee Kwang Soo, and others were present as well.
Before the script reading the entire cast and production staff took the time to introduce themselves. During the introduction the child actors who will be playing the main characters’ childhood selves made their introduction in a cute manner and it broke the ice for the adults who were a bit tensed.
From the actors who’ll be appearing in a single episode only to actors who won’t appear until later in the plot, everyone attended the script reading showing the passion and teamwork of the new cast. The script reading was done professionally, no different from the real filming and Lee Kwang Soo’s comedic acting made everyone laugh.
The first script reading for ‘Nice Guy’ went very smoothly even though it was the first test of the actors’ chemistry. Though it’s only the beginning it was enough to prove that a group of strong and devoted professionals comprised this ‘Dream Team’. The production staff asked to relay a message to the viewers, “From here on we’ll make a quality drama that we’re sure won’t disappoint you. Please look forward to ‘Nice Guy’.”
‘Nice Guy’ is written by writer Lee Kyung Hee whose past works include ‘Sorry I Love You’, ‘Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School’, ‘A Love to Kill’, and ‘Thank You’.
‘Nice Guy’ tells the story of a man (Song Joong Ki) who gave up everything for love, the woman (Park Si Yeon) who used his sacrifice to live a new live, and the woman (Moon Chae Won) who gets entangled in between them in a faithful love affair. ‘Nice Guy’ is scheduled to premier in September.
