‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ Has Surpassed 290,000 Watching Testimonies

KBS drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ has surpassed 290,000 numbers of watching testimonies.

Commonly a drama that receives hot responses from audiences will get around 20,000-30,000 watching testimonies posted in its respective viewers notice board. KBS ‘Baker King, Kim Tak Goo’ whose rating beyond 50%, up to December 19th at 6pm has received 26,128 comments. While ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ got 11 times more audiences feedback than the ‘Baker King’ with stunning number of 300,056 comments.

This year audiences feedback on dramas broadcast by KBS has raised to 555,808 comments in total. Out of this number, ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ contributed approximately 52% of it. If all feedback from other dramas other than ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ are sum up altogether, it only reaches 265,119 comments, still fewer than the number ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ drama has on its own. Eventhough the drama was not the best one in term of viewer rating, ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ seems to be ranked at the top for its number of audiences testimonies.

Executive Producer for KBS Korean drama Kwak Gi-won said, “I already knew Micky Yoochun (Park Yoochun)’s product attractiveness effect. But I never expect the message board will be this much bombarded by testimonies.” There are various stories coming about Park Yoochun who acted the role Lee Seon Jun at the message board. Audiences professed as a scholar to another audiences who also played scholar role and given themselves title ‘Sangyu’ (T/N: Sangyu: title for scholar of SungKyunKwan, e.g Sangyu Lee Seon Jun).

The rest drama with high audiences feedback are ‘Cinderella’s Step Sister’ with 33,502 cases at 2nd place, ‘Chuno’ is ranked 3rd with 33,268 cases. ‘God of Study’ which received 28,902 comments and ‘Three Brothers’ that got 27,864 are ranked 4th and 5th respectively. While ‘Baker King, Kim Tak Goo’ is at the 6th place.
