Song Joong Ki Says ′Martial Arts′ Role is Not Confirmed

Song Joong Ki′s reps have released a statement regarding reports of the actor′s appearance in the movie Martial Arts (Translated). On January 30, Song Joong Ki′s agency, Blossom Entertainment, told Newsen, "We have received an offer to appear in the film Martial Arts, but it′s just one of the many projects that were offered to us." The agency added, "We haven′t decided on anything."

With Song Joong Ki getting discharged from the army in May, it′s been revealed that he received a lovecall from romantic comedy factory, writer Kim Eun Sook, gaining much attention for what he′ll do after he′s out.

According to broadcast affiliates on February 4, Song Joong Ki recently received an offer to appear as the male lead in Kim Eun Sook′s newest drama, Descendants of the Sun (tentative). As he′s still in the army, a confirmation cannot be made, but it′s said that Song Joong Ki′s agency and the drama production company have already begun sincere discussions.

Lee Kwang Soo Says Song Joong Ki Didn′t Like His Visit to the Army Base

Lee Kwang Soo shared a story about visiting his BFF Song Joong Ki in the army. During the December 3 broadcast of SBS’s One Night of TV Entertainment, Lee Kwang Soo brought up his unchanging friendship with Song Joong Ki, who is currently serving in the army. 

In the past, Song Joong Ki stated, “Lee Kwang Soo cries every time he drinks alcohol.” About this, Lee Kwang Soo said, “Joong Ki is currently in the army. Around the time he was about to enlist, my tears would just come out whenever I drank because it was before he joined the army.”

Lee Kwang Soo said, “I visited him once too. It didn’t seem like he liked it so much so I’m never going to visit him again,” bringing out laughter. Apart from Song Joong Ki, Lee Kwang Soo shared stories about his other close colleagues, including Yoo Jae Suk, Zo In Sung and more.

Song Joong Ki Appears in New CF Despite Being in the Army

Song Joong Ki fans who have been missing the actor since he entered the military are in luck because the water purifier brand Ruhens released a new CF featuring the actor.

The CF shows the good-looking Song Joong Ki living an active lifestyle–biking, driving, walking, and concentrating on his work–with a tumbler of purified water on his hand to keep him hydrated throughout his busy day.

In the CF, Song Joong Ki talks about his personal story on how his health has gotten better through his habit of drinking water often.

Through Song Joong Ki, the brand Ruhens wanted to spread the message of drinking water for good health.

And this goal is not hard to reach for the brand because it has confidence in their brand ambassador. According to a representative from Ruhens , “Contrary to his youthful good looks, we were able to show Song Joong Ki in usual activities like driving. He acted so naturally and the female staff in the shoot naturally couldn’t contain their excitement.”
